We loved our stay at the Pavillon des Lys. Everything we needed was within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed the Sunday market, the shops, and restaurants. The Royal Chateau is also within walking distance, along with Clos Luce; the hotel is a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Excellent stay at Pavillon des Lys. Location within walking distance of Royal Chateau and Clos Luce, as well as restaurants and shops. Beautiful breakfast room and lobby. Kind and courteous staff. Pretty room, although a bit small. I would look for larger next time. The bathroom was very large. Everything very clean. Highly recommend.

We loved the Pavillon des Lys during our recent stay. Amboise is a charming town all within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed the Sunday market, the shops, and restaurants. Chateau Amboise is also within walking distance and the hotel is a great base for exploring the Loire Valley. The traditional room/cottage we stayed in was very clean and nicely decorated. The courtyard was a great place to enjoy some wine and cheese, and breakfast was delicious, served in a beautiful dining room. The staff went out of their way to be helpful.

This IS THE BEST HOTEL; two blocks f/ Chateau Royal d’Amboise, private parking and wonderful, high quality French breakfast! Our room was spacious and customer service was impeccable; my son misplaced his Ray-Ban sunglasses his grandmother bought him in Paris and we were checking out of hotel when I thought to just mention sunglasses could be in hotel (even though we looked everywhere!!), the concierge had found them and gave to us!! Made our day!! Hotel is clean and centrally located. I want to stay again! My mom loved the bathtub!

I spent three wonderful nights at the Pavillion de Lys and wish to pass on my thanks to Guillaume and Olivier for making my stay so enjoyable. I travelled from the UK with two friends in a 1938 MG VA tourer and we used the hotel as our base to explore the beautiful Loire valley.
